#AbiquiuVacationHomes welcomes our guests this week from Portland, OR; New Holland, PA; Rochester, NY; Rock Hill, SC and Longboat Key, FL. We love how guests from all over the world hear about this wonderful village, rich with history and culture.
We had a cancellation in May, 2020 - giving us the only open week in May at #TheCasitaDelLago lakefront vacation home ...so if you were hoping for a May get-away to #Abiquiu, this is your chance. You can #bookdirect and save money (no booking fees!) at DiscoverAbiquiu.com.
We are going to have another great fall weather weekend in the Abiquiu area. Highs in the 60s, no forecast of rain. Sunday looks like a perfect day to hit the hiking trails - low winds, sunny. Check out #Ghostranch, #PlazaBlanca or trails below the #AbiquiuDam.

The Artful Life Retreat
Registration is still open for The Artful Life Retreats next year in Abiquiu. Under the creative leadership of renowned artists #DebraFritts and #FrankShelton, you will connect the land, spirit and creative energy in a way you would not have thought possible. Using clay, journaling, mixed media, meditation and outdoor exploration, together we will absorb the energy of this magical land, expand our thinking and perception, and connect the beauty of land, culture and art.
Your accommodations will be in luxury homes or rooms above Abiquiu Lake with hosts Carolyn and Tom Calfee, owners of Abiquiu Lake Vacations. Your studio time will take place in Studio One Thirty Nine, on the Rio Chama, with Debra and Frank. And, your inspiration will be O'Keeffe, Ancient Puebloans, million-year-old red rocks and mountains, Abiquiu Lake and the Rio Chama. History, culture, art and natural beauty - the perfect recipe for #TheArtfulLife. This land is both spiritual and magical, and is the perfect playground for like-minded people to take a journey on a soulful adventure that connects the land and spirit and art. The spectacular setting, coupled with talented leaders, leads to personal transformation. You do not have to be an artist to take this journey! Lodging reservations are first-come/first-reserved -- and can be booked as soon as you register. The first retreat takes place April 26 - May 1. The second retreat takes place September 20 - 25.
